Following Mega Finale, this event runs from 8 to 14 September and brings the debut of Maschiff, which hatches from Eggs and comes from Field Research and evolves into Mabosstiff. Flamigo can be shiny for the first time. Mega Beedrill (raids from 8 to 15 September) and Mega Houndoom (raids from 11 to 15 September) can now reach Super Max Level, so this is the time to collect their Mega Energy from raids and from catching Weedle, Pidgey, Houndour and Carvanha.

Event bonuses

  • Mega Beedrill and Mega Houndoom can reach Super Max Level once they are at Max Level, which takes powering them up with their own Mega Energy
  • Mega Beedrill gets an extra Charged Attack, Fell Stinger+: 40 power and +1 Attack stage in Trainer Battles, 140 power in raids, with more power at higher Mega Levels
  • Mega Houndoom gets an extra Charged Attack, Dark Pulse+: 60 power in Trainer Battles, 150 power in raids, with more power at higher Mega Levels
  • Better Shiny chance for Pidgey from 8 September at 10:00 to 11 September at 10:00, and for Carvanha from 11 September at 10:00 to 14 September at 20:00
  • Spotlight Hours from 18:00 to 19:00: Weedle on 10 September (with a chance of Kakuna and Beedrill) and Houndour on 13 September (with a chance of Houndoom)
  • Event-themed Field Research tasks
