Dynamax Trails

A week of Max Battles from 16 to 23 November, with every non-Legendary, non-Mythical Dynamax Pokémon seen so far back in Max Battles and in the wild. Its GO Pass gives Eternatus, which can be caught once, plus Eternatus Candy and Candy XL for players who already have it. Max Battle catches can come with a Special Background, and Eternamax Eternatus takes over Power Spots on 21 November during Eternatus Returns.

Event bonuses

• Chance of Max Particles when catching event Pokémon in the wild or after Max Battles (not from catches made with the Explorer Gadget or a Pokémon GO Plus +)
• More Power Spots than usual
• All non-Legendary, non-Mythical Dynamax Pokémon that have appeared in Pokémon GO may appear in Max Battles
• Chance of a Special Background, showing when the Pokémon was caught, on Pokémon caught after Max Battles
• Spotlight Hour on 19 November from 18:00 to 19:00 featuring Grookey, Scorbunny and Sobble, with 2× catch Candy
• Event-themed Field Research rewarding Stardust, Eternatus Candy and encounters with event Pokémon
• Event-themed stickers from spinning PokéStops and opening Gifts

GO Pass

The pass opens on 16 November at 10:00, or on 14 November at 10:00 for players who claimed Tier 1 of GO Pass: Into the Wild; rewards must be claimed by 25 November at 20:00.
