The Kuala Lumpur stop of PokéXciting!, Pokémon's 30th anniversary tour of Asia-Pacific cities, is the first of the tour and is played around KLCC Park on 12 and 13 September. It introduces PokéXciting! Pikachu, here in a turquoise costume found only in this region, which stays in the wild in the city for a month afterwards. Two GO Stamp Rallies, two free Timed Research stories, party-hat Pokémon, local Unown and Gigantamax Battles against Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise add to it, alongside a Pokémon-themed drone show and stage performances at the venue.
Event bonuses
- Cross-region GO Stamp Rally: KLCC Park holds Kuala Lumpur's stamp, one of five spread across the PokéXciting! cities; collecting it gives an encounter with PokéXciting! Pikachu (Turquoise) with a local Location Background
