The Twilight Trails season of the GO Battle League runs from 8 September to 1 December, with ranks reset at the start. Mega-Evolved Pokémon can now battle in the league through Mega Edition versions of the Great, Ultra and Master Leagues and several Mega-themed cups, and many attacks have been rebalanced or added to Pokémon's movesets. Climbing the ranks earns Ryme-inspired avatar items and reward encounters, and a free Timed Research pass tracks your wins all season.
Event bonuses
- Mega-Evolved Pokémon are eligible in Mega Edition leagues and in the Mega Color, Mega Halloween and Mega Catch Cups; certain Mega-Evolved Pokémon get an extra Charged Attack whatever their Mega Level
- Cups this season: Great, Ultra and Master League (standard and Mega Edition), Willpower Cup, Retro Cup, Mega Color Cup, Little Cup, Fantasy Cup, Mega Halloween Cup, 2026 GO LAIC Cup and Mega Catch Cup
- Mega Catch Cup is open only to Pokémon caught during the season
- 4× Stardust from win rewards (not end-of-set rewards) during selected weeks of the schedule
- GO Battle Thursday, every Thursday from 00:00 to 23:59 local time: up to 4× Stardust from win rewards (not end-of-set rewards) and up to 10 sets per day (50 battles)
- Free GO Battle League Timed Research pass in the in-game shop: the first page rewards encounters for catching Pokémon, and each further page needs 100 battles and 50 wins, giving Stardust, Rare Candy XL, an Elite Fast TM and an Elite Charged TM
- Ryme-inspired avatar items: shoes at Rank 10, cap and earrings at Rank 15, outfit at Rank 20 and a pose at Legend rank
- Surprise encounter with a Legendary Pokémon among the standard reward encounters
