GO Battle League: Tales of Transformation

The GO Battle League season for Tales of Transformation runs from 2 September to 2 December. It brings Clemont-inspired avatar rewards, Pikachu Libre at Legend rank, a shorter switch timer and a round of attack changes, with cups such as the Willpower, Fantasy, Halloween, 2025 Championship Series and Catch Cups. A GO Battle Weekend on 25 and 26 October adds extra sets and boosted Stardust.

Event bonuses

• GO Battle League ranks reset at the start of the season, with the same rank-up requirements as last season; end-of-season rewards from the previous season can be claimed on the Battle screen
• 4× Stardust from win rewards (not end-of-set rewards) during selected weeks of the league rotation
• Free battle-themed Timed Research pass in the in-game shop: each page needs 100 battles and 50 wins and rewards Stardust, Rare Candy XL, an Elite Fast TM and an Elite Charged TM
• Clemont-inspired avatar items: glasses at Ace rank, shoes and a costume at Veteran rank, a backpack at Expert rank and a pose at Legend rank
• From rank 20, the current five-star raid bosses can appear as reward encounters
• Cup rotation alongside the Great, Ultra and Master Leagues: Retro Cup, Summer Cup, Willpower Cup, Fantasy Cup, Jungle Cup and Halloween Cup (all Great League editions), Master League: Mega Edition, Master Premier, Great League Remix, 2025 Championship Series Cup and Catch Cup (only Pokémon caught between 2 September and 2 December, up to 1,500 CP)
• Switch timer cut from 50 to 45 seconds as a trial, also in Trainer Battles with friends, Team GO Rocket battles and team leader battles
• Attack rebalancing, including Aura Sphere, Dragon Claw, Flame Wheel, Charm, Dragon Breath, Breaking Swipe, Sky Attack and Weather Ball
• New attacks for some Pokémon, including Brutal Swing and Crunch for Salamence, Breaking Swipe for Garchomp, Thunder Punch for Dragonite, Aura Sphere for Raikou, Latias and Latios, and Drain Punch for Gengar and others
