Pokémon GO has suffered a server outage for the first time in quite a while, reminding people how stable the servers are now since the infamously shaky launch of the game.
Rumours that large server changes paving the way for Gen 2 Pokemon have been speculated as the cause, which in addition to the unannounced changes last patch means that we could be looking at another batch of new Pokémon - or a full release of the rest - very shortly.

Pokémon genders have now disappeared
Since the arrival of the male and female models of Pikachu and Raichu a few days ago, the new models have once again disappeared leaving speculation that it was a feature not intended to make it into the game, but is on its way soon. Possibly something on its way for Valentines day?

Pokémon GO hits almost $1 billion revenue in 2016
A marketing research analyst App Annie has just published an annual report showing that the game reached revenues of $950 million in 2016. Let's hope this helps them to develop many new features in 2017.
