September 2026 Community Day Classic: Gible

September's Community Day Classic brings back Gible on Saturday 12 September, and Gible can appear with this year's Special Background. It's a good day to catch Gible, look for a shiny, and evolve Gabite for a Garchomp that knows Earth Power. A paid Special Research ticket gives extra Gible encounters.

Event bonuses

• Gible appears more often in the wild
• 3× XP for catching Pokémon
• Incense lasts three hours (not Daily Adventure Incense)
• Lure Modules last one hour
• From 14:00 to 21:00, regular Lure Modules have a very high chance of attracting Gible, with the event's higher shiny chance and possible Special Backgrounds
• Gabite evolved until 21:00 becomes a Garchomp that knows the Charged Attack Earth Power (90 power in Trainer Battles, 100 in Gyms and raids)
• Collection Challenge, completed by evolving Gible and Gabite, rewarding XP, Stardust and Garchomp Mega Energy
