Fall Marathon: Buddy Trek

Bramblin makes its Pokémon GO debut in this walking-themed event from 13 to 19 October. Mega Manectric can be raised to Super Max Mega Level for the first time, so it is a good week to walk with Electrike or Manectric as your buddy and collect Mega Energy. Incense attracts a different set of Pokémon from 16 October, including Hisuian Growlithe with a better shiny chance, and there is a free Timed Research with a Pikachu wearing a marathon visor.

Event bonuses

• Mega Manectric can be raised to Super Max Mega Level for the first time; it must reach Max first, and Manectric's Mega Energy is needed to power it up
• Mega Evolved Manectric gains the Charged Attack Discharge+ (50 power in Trainer Battles, 150 in raids, rising with Mega Level)
• Better chance of shiny Electrike
• Better chance of shiny Hisuian Growlithe from Incense from 16 October at 10:00
• Event Field Research tasks giving Pokémon encounters, Manectric Mega Energy or Rare Candy
