Harvest Festival

The Harvest Festival is back from 10 to 16 October, and Dipplin and Hydrapple make their Pokémon GO debuts. Dipplin is not found directly: evolve Applin into Dipplin with 200 Applin Candy and 20 Syrupy Apples. Then evolve Dipplin into Hydrapple with 400 Applin Candy after catching seven Dragon-type Pokémon with Dipplin as your buddy. Syrupy Apples start appearing during the event, and Mossy Lure Modules make apples more likely, so it's a good week to look for Applin and stock up on apples.

Event bonuses

• 2× Candy for catching Pokémon with Pinap Berries or Silver Pinap Berries
• Better chance of Shiny Pumpkaboo and Shiny Smoliv
• Apples are more likely at PokéStops with a Mossy Lure Module. Tapping one gives Sweet, Tart or Syrupy Apples or a Pokémon encounter, sometimes Applin
• Event Field Research
• Collection Challenges focused on catching and evolving, rewarding a Mossy Lure Module, Stardust, Syrupy Apples and Applin encounters

Harvest Festival Timed Research ticket

• 2× Mossy Lure Module duration
• Better chance of Berries from PokéStops, sometimes Silver Pinap Berries and Golden Razz Berries
