The best counter to Magmar is Kyogre (Shadow) with Waterfall and Origin Pulse, followed by Groudon (Shadow), Garchomp (Shadow) and Rhyperior (Shadow). The best Mega or Primal to bring is Mega Greninja with Water Shuriken and Surf+.

Magmar weaknesses

Magmar is a Fire Pokémon, so as a raid boss it is weak to Ground, Rock and Water moves. Avoid Bug, Steel, Fire, Grass, Ice and Fairy moves, which it resists.
