XP Celebration

An extended XP event running from 25 August to 14 October, ahead of the 15 October update that raises the level cap from 50 to 80 and rebalances levelling. It is the time to push for nearby level milestones with extra XP from raids, Max Battles and good throws, plus a Timed Research worth over 7 million XP. By the end of the event, every player also receives a medal marking the highest level they reached, from 1 to 50.

Event bonuses

• 2× catch XP for Nice, Great and Excellent Throws
• +3,000 XP for winning raids
• +3,000 XP for winning Max Battles
• These bonuses stack with other events' bonuses
• Timed Research worth over 7 million XP in total, for Trainers at level 5 and above
• The level 47 Level-Up Research task to walk 25 km in a week needs completing only twice instead of eight times
