October 2026 Community Day: Zorua

Zorua is the featured Pokémon for October's Community Day on Saturday 10 October, with more spawns, a chance of Shiny Zorua and Zorua with this year's Special Background. Evolving it during the event, or in the four hours afterwards, gives a Zoroark with an exclusive move, so it's worth saving Candy for. Catch bonuses run for three hours, but Lure Module and trading bonuses carry on into the evening.

Event bonuses

• 3× XP for catching Pokémon
• 2× Candy for catching Pokémon
• 2× chance of Candy XL from catching Pokémon for Trainers level 31 and up
• Zorua evolved during the event or up to four hours afterwards becomes a Zoroark that knows the Fast Attack Sucker Punch
• Zorua can have a Special Background
• Incense lasts three hours (not Daily Adventure Incense)
• A surprise when taking snapshots
• From 14:00 to 21:00, Lure Modules last one hour, and regular Lure Modules have a very high chance of attracting Zorua, which can still be Shiny or have a Special Background
• From 14:00 to 21:00, one extra Special Trade, for up to two that day, and trades cost 50% less Stardust
• Field Research for catching 3 Zorua, rewarding a Zorua encounter, 500 Stardust, 2 Ultra Balls, 5 Great Balls or 2 Pinap Berries
• Field Research for catching 50 Pokémon, or 5 Pokémon while in a Party, rewarding a Zorua encounter with a Special Background
• Checking in at a Community Ambassador meetup gives Timed Research leading to Zorua encounters with a Special Background and premium items
