Chandelure Super Mega Raid Day

Mega Chandelure makes its Pokémon GO debut in Super Mega Raids on the afternoon of 31 October, and it is the first Pokémon whose Mega Level can be raised to Super Max. Raiding during the event also counts towards a worldwide Global Challenge that makes Mega Chandelure stronger from 2 to 15 November. Super Mega Raids only appear at certain Gyms, so the in-game map and local community meetups are the easiest way to find them and other Trainers to battle with.

• Remote Raid limit raised to 20 from 30 October at 17:00 PDT to 31 October at 20:00 PDT
• Up to six free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs
• Better shiny chance for Chandelure from Super Mega Raids
• Chandelure caught from Super Mega Raids have Mega Level 1 unlocked
• Super Max Level for Mega Chandelure, reached after Max Level by powering it up with Mega Energy
• Mega Chandelure can use an extra Charged Attack, Ominous Wind+, which grows stronger with its Mega Level: 50 power with a chance to raise the user's Attack and Defense by one stage in Trainer Battles, 145 power in Gyms and Raids
• Global Challenge for completing raids, from 30 October at 17:00 PDT to 31 October at 20:00 PDT: the more tiers unlocked, the bigger the boost to Ominous Wind+ base power for Mega Chandelure at Mega Level 1 or higher (not in GO Battle League) and to the CP of Mega Chandelure at Super Max Level, from 2 November at 12:00 PST to 15 November at 12:00 PST
• Timed Research rewarding a Premium Battle Pass and a Tyranitar encounter, to be completed and claimed before it ends
