An Electric-themed event from 13 to 18 January in which Global Challenges can unlock the debut of Wattrel and its evolution, Kilowattrel. Tadbulb and other Electric-type Pokémon appear in the wild and hatch from 2 km Eggs, and a low-cost ticket adds Timed Research and halves hatch distance.

Event bonuses

Higher chance of hatching a shiny Tadbulb
Global Challenges run throughout the event. Each completed level unlocks its rewards for the rest of the event and starts the next challenge:
- Level 1: 2× XP for catching Pokémon
- Level 2: 2× Stardust for catching Pokémon, and Wattrel and Kilowattrel debut in the wild and in Field Research (Wattrel evolves for 50 Candy)
- Level 3: 2× XP and 2× Stardust for hatching Pokémon
Event-themed Field Research tasks that reward Pokémon encounters
