Gigantamax Pikachu makes its Pokémon GO debut as a six-star Max Battle boss on the afternoon of Saturday 28 March, and every Power Spot hosts Gigantamax Battles. Pikachu caught from these battles can't evolve. Extra Max Particles from Power Spots and exploring make it a good day to stock up, and a paid ticket adds Timed Research and extra XP.

Pikachu evolves from Pichu for 25 Candy, and into Raichu for 50 Candy, then temporarily into Mega Raichu X or Mega Raichu Y.
