April 2026 Community Day: Tinkatink

April's Community Day on Saturday 11 April features Tinkatink, which can be found in the wild in greater numbers and may appear with this year's Community Day Special Background. Evolving Tinkatuff gives a Tinkaton that knows Gigaton Hammer. Lures keep attracting Tinkatink, and trade bonuses stay active, for several hours after the main event ends.

Event bonuses

• Tinkatink appears more often in the wild and may have a Special Background
• Tinkatuff evolved during the event or up to four hours afterwards becomes a Tinkaton that knows the Charged Attack Gigaton Hammer (130 power in Trainer Battles, 300 in Gyms and raids)
• 2× Candy and 3× Stardust for catching Pokémon
• 2× chance of Candy XL from catching Pokémon for Trainers level 31 and up
• Incense lasts three hours, except Daily Adventure Incense
• A surprise when taking snapshots
• From 14:00 to 21:00, Lure Modules last one hour and have a very high chance of attracting Tinkatink, still with a raised shiny chance and a possible Special Background
• From 14:00 to 21:00, one extra Special Trade (two in total for the day) and trades cost 50% less Stardust
• Field Research for catching Tinkatink, with rewards including Stardust, Ultra Balls and Tinkatink encounters, some with a Special Background
• Checking in to a Community Ambassador event gives Timed Research with Tinkatink encounters that have a Special Background and premium items
